In Superman, Perez & Merino at least allow us to see Clark and Lois’ first meet.  We know she names him five years previously.  The Superman book has connection and spirit.  It has given us hope. Despite all his research and pontificating about the Golden Age, Morrison has given us NOTHING as far as the first meets between Clark Kent and Lois or Superman and Lois.  This was something that Siegel and Shuster did in their first issue in 1938.  They knew human nature and what appeals to people of all ages and eras.  Heart.  Joe and Jerry created something that someone would pay over TWO MILLION DOLLARS to own.  I doubt that Grant Morrison will ever be able to say that especially with Rags Morales’ wonky art.
