The texture of the suit is a little weird, and I can’t tell if the red trunks are there, but it looks pretty good. Better than Superman Returns, at least. I could use more rhinestones.  Closer look than the one I posted earlier.  I take this more seriously than the Returns suit.  This appears to have a more… alien quality, I guess.  Interesting setting, too. Looks like he beat up Aquaman and stole his suit. No Dice. (though the pose, setting, and tone look about right) I can remember how disappointed I was when the first pictures of Routh in the suit came out (seeing the film a year later didn’t make it better).  I can’t wait to see actual footage of Cavill in the suit. His “Superman hairdo” here is different than the one io9 highlighted recently.  I prefer this one, to be honest. I really dig the new suit. But of course people will lose their shit because its different. Fanboys freaked out about Batman’s suit in The Dark Knight when the first stills of those came out, and in action it ended up looking great. Let’s hold off until we actually see him moving and you know, properly lit before we say the suit looks terrible. Agreed, thegreg. I think it looks good, and I like the Returns suit, too. This cap looks really long, too. I like that.
